The Henry Ford Museum

Frances's godfather was going to be in Toledo for his class reunion, so we got a hotel in Detroitland, and met up with him at the Henry Ford Museum, where we had a wonderful time.

I thought this was a neat picture of Frances and Suzanne, watching a reproduction of the air show at the museum.
Here's Frances in a replica of an old airplane.
Here's an old Ford.
The Henry Ford Museum has a big tribute to the Oscar Meyer Weiner, so we ate our lunch in the Weinermobile Cafe. Later, Frances got to pretend to be a hot dog, smothered in plastic condiments.
I suppose that being covered in plastic condiments is great fun when you're 2 1/2. We certainly don't have one of those at home.

Sunday Lunch at McDonalds with the Grandparents

Frances had a nice visit from her grandparents this past weekend. Here they are at the Gun Lake McDonalds after church.
